Security

In view of the site's location on the Algerian borders and in light of the growing especially after the revolution, SITEP has put in place the following actions in order to improve the level of security at El Borma and preventing any risk to the personnel and the installations:

• Fencing of the various areas of the site and installation with barbed wire around the residential camp zone
• Installation and launch of baggage scanners and walk-through metal detectors at El Borma aerodrome,
• Installation and operation of a video surveillance system covering all areas of the site,
• Setting up a VHF radio communication system to cover all areas not covered by cellular networks,
• Permanent on-site surveillance of all areas,
