Seismic merging and reprocessing of El-Borma cubes (SITEP) Laarich-Debbech (SODEPS)

2022 /2023

This study entails the reprocessing of the El Borma (SITEP) and Debbech / Laarich (SODEPS) 3D seismic cubes in order to improve the quality of the seismic (even for the deepest levels) and to have a single seismic cube providing a clearer geological image of all the seismic sequences, and a more refined image of the concession areas and of the geological zones covered and an understand the different geometries at regional and prospectivity levels.

This will allow us to identify and evaluate the hydrocarbon potential of the El- Borma concession.

Elaboration of a Triassic A & B Conceptual Geological Model of the El-Borma large field

2020 /2021

The aim of this project is to develop a conceptual model for reservoirs A and B of the large field, which will serve as a basis for the injection optimisation study and future development actions of the large field.

It consists mainly of facies mapping and stratigraphic and structural barriers

Exploration outside the El Borma Concession: Access to the Data Room of a Block in South Tunisia

2020 /2021

In order to ensure its long-term future, and in parallel with the numerous initiatives undertaken on the El Borma concession to counter the drastic fall in production, SITEP opted to launch an exploratory activity outside the El Borma concession.

For this purpose, SITEP has selected the Smida block, which borders on the El-Borma concession, as one of the free blocks offered by ETAP.

After receiving official authorisation from the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons, SITEP has been granted access to a data room located at the ETAP premises.

Study of the optimization of water injection

2019/2020

This study aims to achieve the most efficient use of the water injected, not only to maintain reservoir pressure, but also to improve oil scavenging.

It enabled us to define the potential wells for the optimisation of water injection, and the waste wells where the treated and produced water would be pumped.
