1961: AGIP started the exploration activity through SITEP, joint company with the Tunisian State.
1964: El Borma giant discovery.
1966: Production start-up.
1968: Attribution to SITEP of “El Borma Concession” until 2018
1970: Production of 100 million barrels.
1975: The project of recovery supported by the water injection.
1978: Artificial lift (ESP) installation.
1988: Production of 500 million barrels.
1989: Gas-lift installation.
1994: Driven-drilling introduction.
2004: 3 D Seismic acquisition.
2008: 405 Exploration well discovery.
2009: 406 Exploration well discovery (oil) and EB 407 Exploration well discovery (Gas with condensate)
